Hanafuda & Japanese Games
Hanafuda, the Japanese flower cards, and other games that have been played in Japan for generations.
Hanafuda is a 48-card deck with twelve suits, one for each month of the year. Instead of numbers, the cards show flowers, animals and poems, and the goal is to collect cards that form scoring combinations called yaku.
Every game here explains the cards and the rules from scratch, so you do not need to read Japanese or know the cards before you play.
